For this third release in the Tobermory Hebridean Series, the distillery wanted to create a brighter, fruitier flavour profile.  Bottling at 48.1% ABV has resulted in a lighter, more complex and open expression of Tobermory compared to the 24 year old.  It still delivers on the red and stone fruit flavours but its moved away from intense, jammy flavours to something a little lighter, zestier and more fruity.

This 25 Year Old unpeated Tobermory whisky is bottled with natural colour and is non-chillfiltered.

Tasting note from the Distillery:

Nose:  Notes of freshly baked bread, candied orange peel and butterscotch are met with a gentle cinnamon spice and dusting of cocoa.  

Palate:  Fruity notes of blackcurrant jam, peaches and lemon peel fade to reveal honeyed almonds and coconut with a soft floral note and a touch of mint.

Finish:  Lingering spicy finish with poached pears and nutmeg.
