The distillery's aim with this bottle is to pay homage to their "rich heritage, echoing the lyrics that graced our very first bottling of 12YO that ventured out into the world in the late 1980’s."
The spirit for Turas Math no.1 was all distilled in 2008 before filling into two cask types: the first was matured for the full 15 years in Manzanilla casks from Jerez, the second began in refill casks for 10 years, before moving to Amarone casks from the Veneto region in Italy, to finish for 5 years.Â

Colour – Pecan Brown
Nose – A burst of dark fruits— black cherries, plums, and blackberries—intertwined by cloves and roasted nuts
Palate – Fresh cinnamon pastries and treacle toffee blend with hazelnut, dried figs, and soft herbal notes.
Finish – Warm spices linger on the palate, accented by a hint of sea spray.
